Within 2 years
TJ were selling to almost 80% of the 2000 Primary
schools
in Scotland. For about £60, the schools could
purchase a photocopy homework pack which could be used
to provide an A4 or A5 homework resource which would
cover a whole year’s work.
--
TJ also produced slow learner’s write on support
packs to allow less able children to take part in
the main lessons in class but at a slower pace and
to
varying depths.
--
In 1996, Tom and James turned their attention to the Secondary market and were
soon providing Homework Packs and 5-14 support packs as well as their 4 biggest
selling resources, namely TJ’s “ULTIMATE”, Credit, General,
Foundation and Higher
Support Packs which sold to every Secondary School in Scotland. Each pack had
about 250 photocopy pages to help back up class materials and prepare pupils
for
the rigours of the Scottish Standard Grade and Higher Examinations.
--
5 Specimen Prelim Exam Papers were provided for every level and a further 3
over
the following 3 years - these formed the basis of almost every Secondary School’s
Prelim Practice papers from 1996 till 2004.
